KUDDIT

Data sources

The datasets and services behind Kuddit’s lookup tools.

Network speed measurements

Speed tests use Cloudflare’s public download and upload endpoints. The browser independently calculates single-connection throughput, HTTPS latency and jitter. Kuddit provides its own test sequence and interface; these are not Cloudflare’s official speed-test scores. If the node is unreachable, an error is shown instead of substitute numbers.

IP locations and networks

DB-IP Lite city and ASN databases provide IP location and network organization data under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. The local datasets are updated monthly. Lite data has reduced coverage and accuracy compared with commercial editions.

Names and phone numbers

Country and territory names come from Unicode CLDR through Symfony Intl. Calling codes and numbering rules come from libphonenumber. These datasets describe published numbering plans; they are not a directory of phone owners.

DNS, registration and time

DNS records are resolved by Google Public DNS. RDAP endpoints are selected from IANA’s bootstrap registry. Time zones follow the IANA Time Zone Database as provided by the server and browser. Source services may change or temporarily fail, and the site reports missing results rather than inventing them.

World population and demographic change

World population, birth and death data come from the UN World Population Prospects 2024 global medium projection. The population clock uses linear estimates from annual data, not live registrations. Counters use UTC.
