Print Resolution (DPI)

Writes the print density of PNG or JPG and maintains pixel dimensions. pictures will be recoded; changes DPI will not add details.

Input supports JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP. GIF like animation only handles current decoded images and outputs static images; recodes removes original EXIF and other additional information.

What happens when transparent pictures are converted to JPG?+

JPG does not support transparent channels, which synthesizes the selected white or black background. Use PNG or WebP if transparency is needed.

Will pictures be uploaded or saved?+

Photo processing is done directly within the current browser and is not sent to the server. This processing record will not be kept after closing the page.
